Welcome to Roasters Map, a platform operated by Roasters Map, USA (“Roasters Map,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). These Buyer Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) govern your access to and use of Roasters Map as a buyer (“Buyer,” “you,” or “your”). By using Roasters Map to purchase products or services, you agree to comply with these terms. If you do not agree, please refrain from using the platform for purchases.
2. Definitions
For the purposes of this Agreement, the following terms have the meanings assigned to them:
•Buyer: Any individual or business that purchases products or services on Roasters Map.
•Seller: Any individual or business registered to sell products or services on Roasters Map.
•Product: Any physical goods related to coffee that a Seller lists for sale on Roasters Map.
•Service: Any coffee-related services, such as barista training or equipment maintenance, offered by Sellers on Roasters Map.
•Order: A request made by a Buyer to purchase a product or service from a Seller.
•Dispute: Any disagreement between a Buyer and a Seller regarding a transaction, which Roasters Map may mediate.
•Prohibited Conduct: Any activity that violates these terms, including fraudulent purchases, misuse of the platform, or attempting to circumvent platform policies.
•Return and Refund Policy: The policy set by each Seller (or by Roasters Map for direct sales) regarding how returns and refunds are handled.
3. Buyer Eligibility & Account Registration
•You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into binding contracts.
•To make purchases, Buyers may be required to create an account and provide accurate and complete information, including name, contact details, and payment information.
•You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.
4. Purchasing Products and Services
4.1 Product and Service Listings
•Scope: Buyers may purchase only coffee-related products and services.
•Direct Sales by Roasters Map: We directly sell selected coffee-related products and services (e.g., barista training courses, coffee brewing equipment, Roasters Map branded merchandise). Descriptions and pricing are maintained by us, although availability and specifications may change.
•Marketplace Facilitator: Roasters Map also connects Buyers with independent third-party Sellers. For these transactions, product descriptions, prices, and shipping details are provided solely by the Seller. Roasters Map does not guarantee the accuracy, quality, or performance of these items.
•Review Before Purchase: Buyers should carefully review product or service details before placing an order.
4.2 Order Placement and Payment
•Review Requirements: Ensure that you review pricing, descriptions, and return policies before placing an order.
•Payment Processing: All payments, whether for direct sales or marketplace transactions, are processed securely through our payment system.
• Cancellation Policies:
•For direct sales by Roasters Map, orders are final once confirmed and can be canceled only under conditions outlined in Section 5.4.
•For marketplace transactions, cancellation and refund policies are governed by the individual Seller’s policies.
4.3 Shipping and Delivery
4.3.1 Marketplace Transactions (Third-Party Seller Shipments)
•Sellers are solely responsible for shipping, packaging, and delivery.
•Buyers must provide an accurate shipping address. Roasters Map is not liable for issues arising from incorrect addresses.
•Shipping timelines and costs are determined by the Seller.
4.3.2 Direct Sales (Roasters Map Shipments)
•Orders are typically processed and shipped within 3–5 business days from order confirmation.
•Shipping times depend on your location and the shipping method selected.
•Roasters Map is not liable for delays caused by carriers, customs, or other external factors.
•If a product arrives damaged, report it to [email protected] within 48 hours with supporting photos.
5. Returns, Refunds, and Disputes

5.1 Definitions
•Marketplace Transactions: Purchases from third-party Sellers, each with its own return and refund policies.
•Direct Sales: Purchases from Roasters Map, subject to our own return and refund terms.
•Return Window: The period within which a product must be returned to be eligible for a refund.
•Refund Processing: The time needed to issue a refund after a return is approved.
•Non-Refundable Items: Items that cannot be returned or refunded (e.g., digital products, personalized items, perishable goods).
•Cancellation: The termination of an order before shipment or service fulfillment, subject to applicable terms.
5.2 Return and Refund Policy
•Marketplace Transactions: Follow the individual Seller’s return and refund policy as displayed on the product listing.
•Direct Sales: Returns are accepted within 14 days for eligible physical products. Refunds are processed within 7–10 business days after the item passes inspection.
5.3 Dispute Resolution
•In case of unresolved disputes between Buyers and Sellers, Roasters Map may act as a mediator, though we do not guarantee refunds or settlements for third-party transactions.
•Fraudulent refund requests or chargebacks may result in suspension or termination of your account.
5.4 Order Cancellations
•Marketplace Transactions: Cancellation policies vary by Seller and should be reviewed before purchase.
•Direct Sales: Orders can be canceled only if they are still in the processing phase and have not been shipped.
6. Shipping and Delivery
This section details shipping and delivery terms for both marketplace transactions and direct sales.
6.1 General Shipping Terms
•Processing Times: Vary by product and are communicated at the time of order.
•Estimated Delivery: Based on product availability, processing times, chosen shipping method, and your location.
•Free Shipping: May apply to certain products if eligibility criteria are met.
•Shipping Costs: Automatically calculated based on location, product weight/dimensions, and shipping method.
•Split Shipments: Orders with multiple items may ship separately if originating from different locations.
6.2 Marketplace Transactions (Third-Party Sellers)
•Sellers manage processing, packaging, and shipping. Review the Seller’s shipping policy on the product page.
•Roasters Map does not guarantee shipping timelines or take responsibility for shipping delays, lost shipments, or delivery disputes.
6.3 Direct Sales by Roasters Map
•Processing Time: Orders are processed within 3–5 business days (subject to high demand or supply chain issues).
•Shipping Methods & Charges: Available options and fees are displayed at checkout.
•Tracking: Once shipped, a tracking number will be emailed to you.
•Failed Deliveries: Provide an accurate shipping address; Roasters Map is not liable for undeliverable shipments due to incorrect address.
•Damaged or Lost Shipments: Report damaged items to [email protected] within 48 hours. For lost packages, contact us for assistance with the carrier’s claim process.
6.4 International Shipping
•Some products may be eligible for international shipping, subject to availability and restrictions.
•Buyers are responsible for customs duties, taxes, and import fees.
•Roasters Map is not liable for customs delays or additional fees imposed by the destination country.
7. Prohibited Conduct
As a Buyer, you must not:
•Attempt to purchase non-coffee-related or prohibited items.
•Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent orders or refund requests.
•Use stolen or unauthorized payment methods.
•Circumvent Roasters Map’s payment system by arranging direct payments with Sellers outside our platform.
•Engage in harassment, threats, or abusive behavior toward Sellers or Roasters Map staff.
Roasters Map reserves the right to suspend or terminate Buyer accounts that violate these terms.
8. Intellectual Property & Content Usage
•Buyers may not copy, modify, or distribute Seller content—including product images, descriptions, or branding—without permission.
•Reviews and feedback must be honest, non-defamatory, and comply with platform guidelines.
•Roasters Map reserves the right to remove any content that violates these terms or applicable laws.
9. Limitation of Liability
•Roasters Map acts solely as a marketplace facilitator and is not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of products or services.
•We are not liable for damages, losses, or claims arising from interactions between Buyers and Sellers.
•In no event shall Roasters Map be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Roasters Map, its affiliates, and employees from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from:
•Violations of this Agreement.
•Disputes with Sellers.
•Any legal claims related to purchases made through our platform.
11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
•These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States.
•Any disputes arising under these terms shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Fulton County, Atlanta, GA.
•Buyers waive any right to a jury trial or class-action lawsuit related to disputes with Roasters Map.
12. Amendments to This Agreement
Roasters Map reserves the right to modify or update these terms at any time. Buyers will be notified of changes via email or a website announcement. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
13. Account Suspension and Termination
Roasters Map may suspend or terminate your account if:
•You repeatedly violate this Agreement.
•You engage in fraudulent activity, chargebacks, or misuse of the platform.
•You harass or abuse Sellers or Roasters Map staff.
